Breakfast at Tiffany's

Day after Christmas I went with my son to a shopping center. We wanted to buy some CD's as a  birthday's present for his grandfather and my father-in-law :-). Suddenly, I saw the DVD from 1961: "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. I thought: "I must buy it!". The movie is the adaptation of Truman Capote’s novel of the same title.  I saw this romantic comedy and I really tooke to it. Audrey Hepburn played Holly Golightly, sophisticated party girl looking to land a rich husband. In spite of not being right, we love Holly Golightly. In her dark glasses and lovely clothes, Audray was beautiful, sometimes crazy and funny. I especially like her when she sadly sings Moon River at her bedroom window. Moon River won the Oscar for best original song. I like the movie, I like Audray with her wide smile and her song very much!

Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.

Lack of time

This year 2014 which is ending  I am always in a hurry. I think that nowadays we complain a lot about lack of time (me too :-)). Today morning, I read on the internet that Lack Of Time Is Just An Illusion by Tomas Kucera. Is it true? All of us have 24 hours of time a day and  it  just depends on us how to use it . Moreover, in his view, you cannot manage time because "time flows and there is nothing you can do about it". But the most important thing is that you can menage prorities and your attention. The author of this article gives us the advise to divide tasks according the concept of 4D:

•             Do It (important, urgent)
•             Delegate (unimportant, urgent)
•             Decide When (important, not urgent)
•             Drop It (unimportant, not urgent)

I think that each day we attempt to devide taks but sometimes it's not so easy. Generally, I agree with Tomas Kucera that lack of time is just an illusion.  Next year, first of all, I will try to have a good work/life balance and save more time for my family.

What can we say about the number 2015?

I'm sorry I haven't written for such a long time but I've been really busy. I've already written about time and how to be a better time manager. I must be honest, I'm still not good in it, so I hope the year 2015 will be maybe better. What could we say about the number 2015? 2015 is a natural number, an odd number and it's not a prime number like 2011 and 2017 for example.
Two thousand fifteen has 8 divisors  namely 1, 5,13, 31, 65, 155, 403, 2015 (here we use all first seven digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) whose sum is 2688.  Moreover, its divisors 13 and 31 are mirror numbers (two numbers are mirror numbers if one can be obtained from the other by reversing the order of the digits). We can expressed 2015 in the binary numeral system (base-2 numeral system) as the number 11111011111 which is a palindromic number (a palindromic number is a number that remains the same when its digits are reversed, a number which is "symmetrical").

Furthermore, the number 2015 can be expressed in Roman numerals as MMXV.
So to sum up, I think 2015 is a nice number!
